• The duplicate panel lists each repeated value once, along with how many times it appeared.

Does the count ignore case, like 'Apple' vs 'apple'?

By default yes — comparisons are case-insensitive and trimmed of surrounding whitespace, so 'Apple' and ' apple ' count as the same item. Turn on 'Case-sensitive comparison' if the two should be treated as different.

What counts as a blank item?

An empty line, or an empty field between two commas in comma-separated mode, after leading and trailing whitespace is trimmed. With 'Ignore blank items' on (the default) these are excluded from every count; turn it off to have them counted like any other entry.

Can I paste a comma-separated list instead of one item per line?

Yes. Switch the mode tab to 'Comma-separated' and the same text box is parsed by splitting on commas instead of line breaks — no need to reformat your list first.
